That’s roughly ¥390,000 (~US$2,600) per person, or about ¥49,000 (~US$325)/day for two over 16 days. Ways to trim: the 3 onsen/ryokan nights already include dinner & breakfast; a Kansai-area rail pass can beat point-to-point day-trip fares; ETC gives weekend/holiday toll discounts; the Snow Peak cabin night is far cheaper than a ryokan. Ways it climbs: a luxury Iya/Dōgo ryokan room, a big Asics/electronics haul, or premium wagyu dinners.
